Arms: Argent a wyvern wings displayed betwen two
flaunches Gules.
Crest: Atop a tower Proper a wyvern wings displayed Gules.
These arms were recorded for Drakes of Bread Street Ward, London and Cheddon Fitzpaine, Somerset in the visitations of London, 1633. (See here). The flaunches are used to distinguish the coat from that of the Drakes of Ashe. As far as is known, these Drakes made no claim to a descent from the Drake of Ashe. It is probable they did, however remotely.
